The Department of Education (DepEd) assures the public that there is adequate supply of textbooks for school year 2013 to 2014.
Some public schools have reportedly started experiencing textbook shortage due to the entry of late enrollees.
DepEd Assistant Secretary Jess Mateo says that even late enrollees will be provided with school materials, as there are buffer stocks for textbooks is for distribution.
Mateo adds that the intended textbook-student ratio is 1:1.
