DOJ gets set to file charges in PDAF scam case

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is preparing to file cases against lawmakers allegedly implicated in the priority development assistance funds scam.

DOJ Secretary Leila de Lima says she has a list of senators and members of the House of Representatives who may have crucial knowledge pertaining to the alleged release of PDAF to questionable non-government organizations.

Sec De Lima refuses to identify or give the number of lawmakers being investigated over the alleged scam.

She assures the public that political party affiliation will not affect the investigation: "The NBI does not engage itself in any partisan concern, nor will it's investigation be affected or damaged by any partisan or political color."
